About : Ushus Senior Secondary School
Ushus was founded in 1996 by two visionaries, the late Mr. Valiyil Aboobacker and Mrs. Shakira Aboobacker. Recognizing the pressing need for a CBSE school in such a remote area, the couple laid the foundation what would become a transformative force in the educational landscape of Edappal. Their initiative sparked revolutionary changes in the region’s approach to education. Today, their legacy is proudly carried forward by their children, Dr. Ayshathul Nasheeda and Mr. Sabeeludhhen Aboobacker, who continue to uphold the values and vision passed down to them by their parents.

“When I envisioned Ushus School, I dreamed of creating more than just an institution—I dreamed of building a place where every child, regardless of background, could receive quality education and values that would guide them for life. Education, I believe, is not just about books and classrooms but about shaping character, nurturing curiosity, and inspiring confidence.
Ushus was founded with the belief that every child carries immense potential, and with the right guidance, they can achieve great heights. My vision was to create an environment where learning is joyful, values are deeply rooted, and students are prepared to face the challenges of tomorrow with courage and wisdom.
Even though I may not witness the journey ahead, I am proud that Ushus continues to thrive under the leadership of those who share the same passion and commitment. My heartfelt wish is that Ushus School continues to inspire, enlighten, and shape young minds for generations to come.”
